I’m pretty sure I delete 80% of the emails I receive before even reading them. The reason? Junk mail and company newsletters I NEVER subscribed to. I can imagine many people feel this way. I’m always hesitant to give my email to people in fear of receiving more junk mail. However, recently I came across a few email subscriptions that I look forward to receiving. Just doing a public service and sharing my favorites :)

Well & Good NYC– When I discovered this site I felt like I hit the jackpot. I would one day love to live in NYC and this website is a great resource for living an active and healthy life in the city. Well & Good just launched a new feature called “Well & Good Anywhere” which features the same type of articles (health/wellness) for people living, well, anywhere. They frequently review new restaurants, workout studios and beauty products. I love everything about this site from their website design down to the actual articles. Highly recommend subscribing!
The Skimm– While I always read the news and stay up-to-date on current events, I don’t necessarily understand what’s going on in the world. Enter: The Skimm. Every weekday morning The Skimm breaks down the most important news from the previous day so
you I can carry an intelligent conversation at work. In comparison to newspapers, The Skimm is the even more simplified USA Today. It’s written in language that keeps me interested in the story and often makes me laugh. They have me hooked.
MindBodyGreen- This is a relatively new-to-me site but I’m very happy I discovered it. MindBodyGreen compiles articles and videos discussing mental, physical and environmental well-being. I enjoy the mixture of articles and find the stories inspiring and thought-provoking. Tons of great content on their site.
