Happy Monday! How was your weekend? My weekend flew by, but the best ones always do.
Let’s skip Friday and go right to Saturday as I had to work until 9 p.m…Actually let’s skip to Saturday at 2 p.m. because that was the coolest part of the day.
Saturday afternoon I went to a special Spinning class at Equinox on the UES with Ali from Inspiralized. I saw Ali’s Instagram announcing the event two weeks ago and responded right away. If you don’t know Ali, well, you should. She’s the queen of zoodles, author of the cookbook Inspiralized and creator of The Inspiralizer.
She’s also a huge Spinning fan and just an all-around incredibly sweet person. I was a total fan girl.
She did a little demo of how The Inspiralizer works (I want it…like yesterday) and brought samples of one of her recipes for everyone to try.
If that wasn’t good enough, the actual Spin class was awesome. The instructor had the best energy and music (I got some good songs). Plus, the setting could not be beat: on a rooftop in NYC on a perfectly sunny summer day. I officially think that’s how all Spinning classes should be.
Flash forward to Sunday and I was reunited with two of my favorite people. I hung out with my cousin in the morning before meeting up with my best friend of over 10 years. After having lunch at Sweetgreen we did a
little lot of city exploring.
The High Line is the best on a beautiful day.
The Gansevoort Market and Chelsea Market are both a must.Smoothies from Organic Avenue to cool off.
Ending our day at the Boathouse in Central Park.
It’s now Sunday night and I’m watching the Cavs-Warriors feeling exhausted, happy and blessed. Pretty marvelous weekend, if I do say so myself.
