I realized I was following a Monday-Sunday format instead of Sunday-Saturday so I finally corrected myself!
This week was a really good mix of workouts. I wish I got another yoga practice in but I didn’t have time with all of the end of semester chaos. But as I head into finals week (and a half) I’m going to really try to go to yoga more often because a) it’s good for stress relief- duh and b) I’m going to miss my studio during winter break! It may just be my favorite thing about Miami.
Sunday: 3 miles. This was in my last recap but I snuck in 3 miles on the treadmill in R.I. before flying back to Miami. 10 hours of travel later, I was glad to have gotten in some movement in the morning.
Monday: Hot vinyasa flow. This was my first class in over a week and my hips were happy. I didn’t realize how much I sat during the break and everything felt extra tight. It was a new-to-me instructor and I will definitely return to her class.
Wednesday: 5 miles in the morning + spin in the evening. New playlist that I’ll share next week! Hint: It has “Uptown Funk.” Add it to your playlist now.
Thursday: Off. Contemplated running and/or yoga but studying and group projects took precedence.
Friday: 4 miles
Saturday: 7 miles. Longest run since the marathon 5 weeks ago. I have one half marathon in January and one in February so I’m going to try to do some longer weekend runs until then. Probably not more than 10 miles. I ran with my school’s running club for the first time in a while and it was a beautiful morning!
