This was my last full week of workouts in Miami. I got in a little bit of everything so I consider it a success! With final exams starting my schedule was turned around a bit but it ended up working to my advantage. While finals can be stressful, the days I have tests are pretty spread out so I’ve had lots of free time. And let’s be real, I don’t and can’t study all-day.
I may have exercised most days this week, but the added free time meant I could sit and be lazy for the rest of the day. Win-win in my book.
Sunday: Hot vinyasa flow. It was really hard for me because I let a week go by (again) without going. Tight legs for the win.
Monday: 35 minute walk in the beautiful 70 degree weather + Upper Body Sculpt class at the campus gym. I used to go to this class a lot during my freshman year. 30 minutes of light weights, high reps. Nice for a change.
Tuesday: 4 mile run. First run in my new Brooks!
Wednesday: 4.25 miles in the morning + spin at night. Last spin class of the semester! Next semester I have a Wednesday night class so I won’t be teaching at that time. I think I’ll like my new teaching schedule better though.
Thursday: Hot vinyasa flow. Well it was supposed to be “hot” but the room wasn’t as warm as normal because it was FREEZING outside. Freezing as in 40 degrees. But that’s cold for here.
Friday: 7.75 miles + hot vinyasa flow. The Friday afternoon class is my favorite yoga class and the instructor always has us do fun, challenging poses.
Happy Sunday! xo
