If you’re reading this between the hours of 6 a.m. (when this post was published) and 7:30 a.m., I’m currently running the Princess Half Marathon. If you’re reading this after that time I’m either praising God that the race is over, sleeping, eating or driving back to Miami. Just in case you wanted to know about my day…
Sunday: 40 minute walk while talking to my family + 25 minutes of weights
This is the (random) weight workout I did:
3 rounds of: 15 single leg deadlifts (each leg) + 15 tricep extensions in between sets
3 rounds of: 15 squat to shoulder press + 15 push-ups
Monday: 4 mile run + PT in the afternoon. No matter if I use heavy or light weights for deadlifts, especially single leg, my legs are incredibly sore and tight the next day. Lots of foam rolling happened at PT.
Wednesday: Spin + 10 minutes of hip/glute exercises
Thursday: 3 miles. I couldn’t bring myself to get out of my warm bed so I pushed this run to the afternoon. Per usual, it sucked. I just can’t do afternoon runs anymore.
