Happy Monday! I’ll be back tomorrow with a more “substantial” post, but in the mean time I thought I would share my current favorites. I’m going to try to remember to do this every month (or every other month) because it’s fun to look back on. Tell me what’s going on with your life in the comments.
Current book: “Girl On The Train.” I hope to finish this before I leave for school which would make for 3 books in 2 months. Minor win for some, major win for me.
Current song: “Power” by Kanye on repeat during my runs. I never repeat songs but this is an exception. I’m not a huge fan of rap, hip hop and the like, so it’s kind of funny to see little, reserved me singing this explicit song.
Current drink: Gingerade kombucha and CocoLibre coconut water. I finally tried Gingerade and it jumped to the top of my favorites list. This coconut water did the same.
Current guilty pleasure: Naps. But I don’t feel the least bit guilty about them.
Current food: Acai and smoothie bowls. I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without them in my life. Don’t worry, I’m making up for it now.
Current need: To unpack and then re-pack for the school year. I’m planning on not bringing as much stuff back to school because it’s my last semester. I have to really organize my disaster of a room so I can be a smart packer, which is something I’ve never been.
Current workout: Other than running? Strength-training on my own (as opposed to in a group exercise class).
Current procrastination: See “current need.”
Current confession: I’m the laziest active person ever, at least I have been this week. Most days I’ll workout in the morning and spend the rest of the day on the couch eating, napping and watching TV.
Current blessing: This time at home with my family. I don’t know what will happen after graduation (the question of the year) so I’m grateful for some freedom and family time while it lasts. Oh, and this view doesn’t suck.
Current excitement: My massage later this week #itsthelittlethings.
Current mood: Happy. Anti-climatic answer but it’s the current truth.
Current link: I just discovered the website The Financial Diet and have enjoyed many of the articles. Browse if you need some work procrastination!
How is it already time to start thinking about going back to school?? I am happy that I don’t have to pack everything up since I have been living in my college apartment this whole summer, but I know how you feel about packing. I am not a smart packer at all and my bedroom at home is a hot mess right now.

The packing is a huge benefit of living at school this summer! Between packing to go to NY and then unpacking here and then repacking I’m sick of it :)
Oh man! I could go for a massage right about now as well. That sure does sound extremely relaxing & therapeutic. Enjoy it!!

It’s Thursday and I cannot wait! Hopefully you can get one soon (you deserve it!)
I’m in the same boat with feeling lazy lately. Maybe it’s the weather or the time of year..but I have no motivation at all to do anything! So exciting that you’re going into your final year. Enjoy every second of it, because once it’s over you’ll miss college like crazy. I know I do!
I’d like to blame it on the weather, so let’s go with that ;) As much as I’m ready to be done with tests and studying I know I will miss this freedom when it’s over.
You’re confession = my confession ;)
I think at our age we shouldn’t ever unpack…we always seem to need to be moving “base” so it would be easier to live out of suitcases and boxes, hahahaha…but kinda depressing :P

YES! I’ve said multiple times that I feel like a nomad. Sometimes it really is just easier to live out of a suitcase.
Gingerade Kombucha sounds tempting! I’m an absolute açai and smoothie bowl addict – this is what I survive on during the warmer times of the year :D I wish I had a massage to look forward to as well – I haven’t had one in ages!

I have a feeling I will continue the smoothie bowls even after summer. So good! Massages are my favorite way to “treat myself.” Book one, you won’t regret it.
“Girl On The Train” was an interesting book…A good summer read! I’ve never had a acai bowl, but I eat smoothie bowls all the time. They’re the best during summer! Sounds like you have a lot of good things happening right now…enjoy that massage! xoxo

It’s taking me longer than I hoped to get into the book, but I’ve heard it picks up! I’ve been buying the frozen Sambazon acai packets and rotating adding them into my smoothies.
I have been eyeing ‘Girl On a Train’ and definitely want to check it out! I also need to get my hands on an acai bowl one day… so much hype and I have yet to try it. Have a great Monday <3!

They sell frozen acai packets at the grocery store! That’s what I’ve been doing to make them at home. But it is always nice when someone makes it for you :)
A massage sounds awesome! I finally started reading Girl on the Train-it’s definitely a page turner!

My sister has been bugging me to read it so I finally caved :)
Ahhh I need a massage. I was thinking about that this morning. Definitely make the most of this time with your family! Anything can happen post-graduation, but at the end of the day, you can be wherever you want to be. If that means living in Tampa so you can stay close, then you can make it happen :)

Book an appointment! And not for a painful calf/sports massage ;) I’m feeling more and more drawn to coming back to Tampa, at least for the interim, after graduation.
Ahhh your last semester?!??! Are you graduating early? Good luck with packing- i’m always so relieved once I’m done!

Yes! A semester early :)
Best of luck for your final semester! I graduated in July but still don’t really know where to go next… I am making the most of some down time though and your confession pretty much sums up my existence for the past couple of weeks!
Thanks, Charlotte! I will most likely be taking time off after graduation to figure out “what’s next.” Who really knows at this point!
I recently discovered acai bowls too! Not sure where I had been throughout all of these trends…

I feel the same way! What took me so long to get on board?!
One of the big things I don’t miss about college is the constant packing/unpacking cycle. I’m glad I can finally have all my stuff in one place all the time! I am very jealous of your massage – enjoy!

Glad someone understands! It’s exhausting and I feel nomadic at times.
Love coconut and acai!
Golden Cor
They are perfect in the summer!
“Power” is my favorite song to run to too! I swear it makes me run faster! Right now my biggest excitement is going back to school, moving in a week from today!

I totally agree, it’s my go-to power song, no pun intended ;) Ah! Good luck with the move in. I’ll be right behind you.
