Time for the monthly round-up of what I’m wanting, needing, loving, eating and doing lately. Sit back, relax and read.
Current book: I finished “The Luckiest Girl Alive” by Jessica Knoll last week. A lighter, more modern version of “Gone Girl.” Actually, one review described it as “Gone Girl, meets Cosmo meets Sex in the City.” Very accurate.
Current song: Like I did last month, a country and non-country song. Country: “I Got the Boy” by Jana Kramer. Non-country: “How to Be a Heartbreaker” by Marina and the Diamonds.
Current drink: Smoothies. Technically I’ve been eating and drinking those on repeat this month, but I’ll put it in this category.
Current guilty pleasure: Fresh salmon. Normally I buy the frozen packages at Whole Foods but lately I’ve been “splurging” on fresh a few times a week. WELL worth it in my mind.
Current food: Other than smoothie bowls….I’ve been having pumpkin seeds on everything (including on smoothie bowls!). Mostly the packaged pepita seeds, but I roasted some after carving pumpkins last weekend and love those.

Here’s a smoothie bowl AND pepitas
Current need: To watch a movie for my film class and write a review. Not the worst thing in the world….
Current workout: Nada. Yeah, it hasn’t been fun around here.
Current procrastination: See “current need” above. I feel like these two are always the same for me.
Current confession: Other than wanting to repeat fall break… I’ve already started my Christmas list. No shame.
Current blessing: Answers to nagging problems. I’ll leave it at that.
Current excitement: If everything goes as planned, I’ll be at Wanderlust this weekend!
Current mood: Relieved.
Current link: This video. My mom showed it to me a few weeks ago and I loved it. Take a few minutes and watch…for a laugh and heartwarming story.
I joke all the time if it were legal I would marry my salmon. Sashimi.

My current need is a good read so thanks for the suggestion! I recently read “Where’d You Go Bernadette” and it was one of the funniest and most entertaining books ever! I’m procrastinating to the extreme on cleaning my house… with no plans to change the situation.

The Luckiest Girl alive sounds like a good one! I will definitely have to add that to my reading list (once I actually have time to read books outside of classes haha)

I’ve been really enjoying reading as a break from school! Unlike me (as I normally turn to Netflix) but it’s been a good mental distraction.
Dying at that video… perfect way to start off a Tuesday after a long weekend! And no shame – Christmas list 2015 is already in the works :)

Thank you! Hope the weather holds out!
I’m reading some young adult running fiction books. I don’t think there is ever an excuse to NOT want a smoothie. They are so good & always so filling. I could eat them all day every day.

I could too. I haven’t had one yet today so that’s what my nighttime snack will be!
You already have a Christmas list together…HAHAH! That is too funny…I’ve been procrastinating on reading…I just haven’t had the desire to dive into my book as of lately. I honestly think it has to do with the fact that I need to disconnect a lot earlier. I’ll work on that. ;)

I’ve been doing just that…disconnecting earlier and reading. Very unlike me but I feel good and am enjoying reading as of late!
Current love Pyros Pizza salad. I found this over the weekend and I am craving one now. Current procrastination dusting. Have a great day

Cleaning always ends up on my procrastination list!
My Christmas list is also well underway :)
Hope everything is ok with your foot- I get the sense that things aren’t great in that area at the moment so I wish you a speedy recovery xx
Thank you for your well wishes :) You are unfortunately right.
Your little snipped of The Luckiest Girl makes me intrigued. I think I am going to peak my head into the library this week to see if that is available!
If you are in need of a new book, I am about to finish The Book Thief and it is mesmerizing! I cannot put it down.

My mom read that one and I think she enjoyed it! The Luckiest Girl Alive came out recently I think and I only found it in hardcopy ($$).
definitely making my christmas list already… no shame ;) at least making it is keeping me from spending money that i don’t have on things, so theres that haha!

Ha! I like the way you think :)
OoOo that book! Adding that to my “must reads” :) Current need- a day off! I am working almost 60 hours a week (well…class on Saturdays and Sundays) and I am worn out! I am dying to just rest and watch Netflix. Have a great day!

It’s a perfect lazy-day read. Oh I hope you get a long break soon! Netflix days are a must every now and then.
That book looks really good! I need to add it to my to-read list. I’m currently reading All the Light We Cannot See, it follows French characters through WW2.
I’ve never heard of that but I enjoy stories that center around WWII and that time period.
i recently finished the girl on the train and am not “reading’ on audio book on my drives the 14th book in the women’s murder club. so far so good. im needing to feel better. im in chicago right now and for the past 2 days have had a horrible sore throat and cant sleep well. im in total denial and just sorta hoping it disappears ?
I loved Girl on the Train! Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. I had an awful sore throat a few weeks ago and it interrupted my sleeping, so I know how you feel. Smoothies!
Pepitas are the bomb. Love love love them! I don’t know what answers to nagging questions means but I can’t wait whatever it is <3
