Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are enjoying this day with your family and loved ones. Take some extra time today to give thanks for all of your blessings. Of course, I am truly thankful for my health and family but there are many things in my everyday life that I take for granted.
Today and everyday, I’m thankful for…
(*complete with some unattractive photos)
First and foremost, my family and my health. I could elaborate on this forever, but I think a simple statement can be just as powerful.
My dog who knows exactly when I need to cuddle.
Food that nourishes my body and my soul.
Those runs that feel so effortless and leave me feeling on top of the world.
Those runs that aren’t so effortless that put things into perspective, and make the good days great.
The ability to afford and choose foods that I like. I can be picky and I know that not everyone has that luxury.
My friends who can make me laugh even when we’re hundreds of miles away.A safe and comfortable home.
An incredible education. As much as I complain about school work, I know I’m very fortunate to attend a great college.
Sunday football games.
Afternoon naps.
Savasana.
Sweatpants and sweatshirts.
A long, warm shower on a cold night.
The servicemen and women who devote their lives to keeping others safe.
Medicine when I’m sick, and Netflix when I’m sad.
Peanut butter. I’d be remiss if I didn’t end my list with this.

I hope you are stuffed with stuffing and pie, or if you hate most Thanksgiving food like me, turkey and roasted sweet potatoes.
Best wishes to you and your family! xo
