Hey there, I feel like a stranger. I’ve missed chatting with you but I’ve also enjoyed this step back to posting 3x a week. I’m trying to do one “chatty” post and two less chatty (more informative or introspective) every week. That’s just rough guideline I’ve made for myself because I can’t get rid of these random thought/life posts, obviously. There might be a reader survey coming in the new year as I try to “refocus.”
This weekend I was scrolling through my iPhone camera roll deleting pictures to free up space and realized there were some recent pictures I never shared here. Craziness. Speaking of iPhones, I’ve heard the iPhone 6 has a much better camera than the 5, which I have. I’m eligible for an upgrade so I want to know if it’s worth it overall. Such a #firstworldproblem.
Now for a life update…
I was at the mall last weekend and seriously almost bought both these things….
Considering that I’m not doing any cardio still (injury update this week or early next) this shirt made me laugh. Although I do pride myself in not being late. I’m ALWAYS five minutes early. And that mug needs no explanation.
I exercised an ounce of creativity in the kitchen last week and made a roasted beet and kale quinoa salad. The lighting is awful (no shocker) but you can kind of see the pink quinoa (aka the reason I made it). Also, I think I’ve finally perfected baked chicken breasts. I’ve been playing around with my oven settings and timing but this one was a winner.
This might have been the best text I’ve ever received. But no, I didn’t call for more information.
