Jilz Gluten Free Crackerz GIVEAWAY + Sweet Potato Hummus

02/29/16 | Featured, Food, Giveaway, Gluten free, Recipe

Today is Leap Day and I have one question for you: how are you going to spend the extra 24 hours you’ve been given?

*Bad joke alert

I know! You’re going to enter my giveaway for Jilz Gluten Free Crackers.

A chickpea-free dip made with sweet potatoes and tahini. Paleo, vegan and gluten-free friendly.

If you’re still reading, you’re a smart one, because you need to try Jilz.

About Jilz Gluten Free Crackerz

Jilz are paleo, gluten-free and vegan crackers that taste just like the “real things.” Except these are the real “real things” because they don’t have any additives or fillers….just simple, minimal and whole ingredients.

There are three flavors: Cracked Pepper + Sea Salt, Tuscan and Mediterranean

A chickpea-free dip made with sweet potatoes and tahini. Paleo, vegan and gluten-free friendly.

Filling a Snack Void

Jilz began when its founder, Jill, went on a quest to find a cracker suitable for her gluten-intolerant husband. When she didn’t find one without rice, corn, soy, dairy, wheat, sugar, grain or fillers she decided to create her own. Jill experimented with recipes until finding the perfect balance of “flavor, crisp and crunch.” She took matters into her own hands and is proof that if you want something that doesn’t exist, you can work hard and create it for yourself.

Cracker Snacking

You can (obviously) eat Jilz just like any cracker…with a dip, spread, snack plate, salad or straight out of the container. I wanted to make a simple dip with whole ingredients to pair well with the taste and theme of Jilz.

You know me and crackers (well, and carb type things in general). I had the best sweet potato hummus in Nola, actually. And that is saying something as I typically make my own, and it is very similar to yours! (thus I know yours is yummy!)

okay so obviously the giveaway is closed, but i’m so happy you shared these crakers here! a lot of times companies will advertise that they are “clean” “healthier” or “don’t contain x, y, or z” but are still high in oil and other unwanted stuff.. so i was a bit *shocked* when i saw the ingredient list and it was awesome! i’m normally not a huge almond flour fan but if they are in a store near me i will try them!!
