**Today is the last day to enter my KIND Snacks giveaway!
I will email the winner tomorrow**
It’s been a while since I’ve thought out loud, and I’m sure you’re missing my randomness. Thanks, Amanda!
1. I FINALLY got a food processor. I’ve only made one recipe with the it so far (Georgie’s Walnut, Spinach and Basil Pesto) but I’ve had it almost every night with my dinner. And on salads. It may not look pretty but trust me, it’s good.

Here, I mixed the pesto with spaghetti squash and topped with avocado and chicken.
2. I also did something new/random and made parsnip fries. Not too bad, but not regular potato fries.
3. Confession: I’m really really nervous for this half marathon on Sunday. I’m in denial that it’s this weekend. Will update you on my (hopeful) survival Monday.
4. To go along with said nervousness, my school workload doesn’t mesh well with my weekend plans. Looks like I’ll either have to do some work in Orlando or be behind on Monday.
5. This big boy (my dog, Rocco) turned 7 last Sunday. Can’t wait to squeeze him in two (!!) weeks when I’m home for spring break.
6. If you haven’t listened to Serial yet, this is your reminder to start NOW. The trial is going back to court (in real life) so now is the time to learn the story. It’s great to listen to on long runs or road trips.
7. I spent my Monday night with this guy for my CPR/AED certification renewal. CPR training sure is fun…But in all seriousness, it’s necessary to learn.
8. This tweet made me laugh:
9. I officially have 5 jars of nut butter – all different brands – open in my pantry. I’m not complaining.
10. Tell me your Scandal predictions for tonight! It’s been all over the place this season so I don’t know what to expect.
Are you certified in CPR?
Favorite brand of nut butter? Right now I’m LOVING Wild Friends!
I was certified back in high school and then I was never sent my official “card”…..so all that testing for nothing. I was really upset, but at least I know how to save a life ;)

The fact that you know how to do it is the most important part anyway!
One of my coworkers was just telling me about that Serial podcast! I’ve been meaning to check that out, thanks for reminder :)

Yes, yes, yes! I re-listened to the last few episodes this weekend and I’m still torn.
I really have no idea what to think of tonight’s Scandal episode! Every minute I feel like there is some new plot twist that has me hooked. I really, really want to see who bought Olivia though! Good luck on your half marathon this weekend, I am sure you will rock it!

I could NEVER have predicted what happened. So shocked!!
Another college-aged blogger who loves peanut butter and greys and running? Nice to meet ya! My favorite brand of nut butter is probably the drippy smuckers naturals kind. Although the Justins packs that you can squeeze right into your mouth have a special place in my heart as well. Let’s be real, no one actually puts them on food.

I ate like four of the Justins squeeze packs this weekend. Sounds like we’d be best friends ;)
Ahh good luck on the half! I’m sure you’ll do great. :) And Happy Bday to your pup – he is so cute and curly! <3 Hmmm I've been trying to control myself on the nut butter scene lately, but my all time favorite brand has been The Peanut Principle. They have some RIDIC flavors, and they've all been super good! xo

I’ve never heard of that brand! But because we like all of the same things I’m sure I will :) Hope you had a great weekend!
-I’m so happy you’re loving your new food processor! Can’t wait to see all the fun goodies you make.
-Good luck this weekend. Last year I ran a half marathon I wasn’t quite mentally prepared for and it ended up being fine, not my fastest time but I focused on enjoying the challenge.
-Serial is just so good! I’m a sucker for a great podcast and crime news soo it’s just perfect.
-I love Whole Food’s and and Trader Joe’s almond butter <3 (I currently have 5 jars of different nut butters too) #notsorry

That’s exactly how my race turned out! Not my fastest time at all, but still fun. Glad I’m not alone in the nut butter obsession :)
I’m actually getting CPR re-certified tonight! Not looking forward to 3 hours of that…haha but it is very important to know especially if you’re teaching fitness classes.
And Wild Friends is the best, I had a jar of pumpkin spice peanut butter in my pantry unopened since October and it finally called out me to open the other day. :)
Good luck on your half!

Wild Friends is so addicting! How you went that long without opening it is beyond me ;)
I’m loving Justin’s nut butters lately! Good luck with your half!!

Thanks, Ellen! I had lots of Justins this weekend. Especially after the race.
I’ve heard so much about Serial but haven’t gotten along to downloading it yet. I’ll have to do that ASAP! And I’m certified in CPR from my lifeguarding days :)

Listen to it! You’ll love it.
I cannot wait to see how the Serial trial goes in real life!!! I’ve listened to the whole thing through twice already and might just have to start all over again before the trial starts! Good luck on your race this weekend and on fitting in all of your school work! :)

I actually use my food processor a ton! Also I did CPR training (first time!) a few weeks ago and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The idea of having to save someone’s life kinda scares me still thought!

Best of luck during your race this weekend!! I know you’ll do great :) so glad you have a food processor now…my go-tos for it are hummus and banana ice cream!

I’m a VERY starving college student. so I can barely afford Trader Joe’s almond butter. But I go that extra mile and pay for it, even though it means my laundry has to wait a week or that I don’t get to buy a loaf of bread! Nut butter love is the truest of love.
I keep hearing so many good things about Serial, but I have yet to actually listen to it. Putting it on the to-do list. Along with finally getting around to watching Lost  Oh boy. And right now I’m going to have to go with Justin’s as my favourite nut butter. Their maple almond is just… ohhhh.em.gee.
