I fully embraced the “do what feels good” mindset this week. It has been prime running weather so I’ve felt like running some days, but others, I preferred staying inside and being lazy. Yes, lazy. Being at home puts me in vacation mode and I’m not sure if that’s good or bad.
Sunday: 4.25 miles
Monday: 4 miles + Upper Body Sculpt. This was the same basic class as last week but we used dumbbells instead of a barbell and mixed up the exercises for each body part.
Tuesday: Hot vinyasa flow + 40 minute walk while studying. This was my last yoga class in Miami until January. There are great studios at home, but I’ve really fallen in love with this one.
I needed a study break so I brought my study guide to the gym for some slow treadmill walking/reading.
Wednesday: 4 miles + planks (3 1-minute planks). Happy to have gotten a run in before my exam and then sitting in the car for 5 hours.
Thursday: Off. I left the house only once during the day and spent most of it on the couch. Not kidding. Not guilty.
Friday: 3 miles + yoga. It was a slow flow class (non-heated). There were a few harder poses but it was mostly basic moves. Still felt great!
Saturday: Off.
Hope you’re having a lovely Sunday! xo
Nice relaxed week! It feels weird now not to have access to a gym again at home, but no my barbell and I have been reunited ;)

This change of scenery will be help our minds and bodies :) Changing up our workouts is always good.
Love how you switch it up everyday and don’t feel confined to a strict workout routine. I also think it’s better to do what feels good and switch it up!

It feels really good not to be on a strict schedule. I love the workouts I do because I freely choose them!
I SO wish that I had the workout mentality that you do! I definitely like to take my notes and walk on the treadmill when I know I need to study but want to burn a few extra calories.

I can’t guarantee it was the most effective form of studying but my butt was hurting from sitting all day!
I’m impressed you could study while walking! I think I would’ve just fallen off the treadmill right away. Doing whatever feels good weeks are the best.

Haha it was really slow! I think the guy next to me was confused why I was even walking in the first place.
