Already February 1?! I’m actually happy that the newness of the year is over. Just so much hoop-la surrounding resolutions and the New Year that it’s overwhelming. But, if I’m being completely honest, I hate looking at class syllabi and seeing that I’m on week 1 of 15. Week 4 makes me feel like I’m that much closer to summer.
Ok, workouts. Nothing eventful to mention other than an awesome spin class on Wednesday. I had 11 girls (which is a lot for the 20 bikes available) and 5 commented that they loved my playlist. Everyone had great energy. Even though morning classes aren’t popular among college students I think those who come genuinely want to be there and work hard for the full hour. Not much running this week. My knee started hurting, which is odd because my activity level is less than normal. I think it has to do with sitting cross-legged a lot…? Hoping to get in a run today!
Sunday: Hot yoga
Monday: Off. Ironically, I just can’t seem to find the energy to exercise on my least busy day of the week.
Tuesday: 5 miles on the treadmill while watching coverage of #Blizzard2015. There was nothing else on the TV that morning. Hope everyone is OK and stayed warm!
Wednesday: Spin.
Thursday: 4 miles + yoga. My knee hurt during this run. No bueno.
Friday: Circuit class at my campus gym (weight based, no-cardio) + yoga
Saturday: 45 minute walk in beautiful weather.
Enjoy the big game today! Go Pats :)
Really, please send your beautiful weather up here! XOXO

Whoops…that posted early.
I hope your knee starts feeling better! I find that when I sit cross-legged a lot mine hurts too. I ran only a little this week too. I’m hoping my calf shapes up soon!
That’s awesome you had a great spin class! I love going to class in the morning. The one I go to is normally small but there were 12 people the other day! I love my instructor’s playlist too.

Hope your calf is feeling better. Running pains are so fun, right?! Some rest and stretching seemed to help my knee.
Hope your knee feels better soon! Have you done any posts in the past about what it’s like teaching spin?

Thanks, Liv! I wrote a few a long time ago but I’m due for another. Thanks for the idea :) :)
Sorry about your knee pain! That’s the worse. You are doing the right thing by taking it easy. And rest days are just as important as workout days. Enjoy that restful Monday!
